What services or modalities do you offer?
Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Prenatal, Scalp and Sole, Swedish/Lymphatic Massage.
How do you determine services pricing?
For 1 hour session it ranges from $150-$170. For 1.5 hours ranges from $210-$230.
Do you accept insurance? Do you accept HSA/FSA as payments?
No. I do not accept Health Insurance. Yes. I accept HSA/FSA as payments.
What are safety precautions for Prenatal massage?
Second and Third Trimester preferred. Medical clearance from Healthcare provider. Client will be on side-lying position, with pillow at the head, legs and upper body. No pressure points or deep pressure on specific areas. Scented or unscented oils at clients preference.
Where can I park?
Free Street Parking is available. The physical address is 345 Visitacion Ave, Brisbane, CA. There are parking spots in front of the studio, and around the neighborhood, if not occupied by other cars.
How much time should I expect to dedicate to this appointment?
Your initial session will include a 10-minute consultation to review your Client Intake Form, address your concerns and goals for the session. The sessions will consist of 60, or 90-minute and an additional 10 minutes for undressing/dressing, post-session review, scheduling your next session, and payment.
What’s the difference between Deep Tissue vs Sports Massage?
Purpose: Sports massage targets athletic performance, flexibility, and post-workout recovery; deep tissue targets long-standing aches, poor posture, and chronic tension.
Technique: Sports massage includes active or passive stretching, compression, and joint mobilization; deep tissue relies on slow, sustained finger or elbow pressure along the muscle grain.
What payment methods do you accept?
I also accept cash (exact amount please), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Apple Pay, Zelle, or Venmo for payments.
What if I need to cancel, reschedule, or late for my massage/bodywork session?
I understand things happen, so please allow at least 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You will be charged 100% for No Shows and Last Minute cancellations. If you arrive late, sessions will not be extended and full payment still applies.
Are Massage packages, Gift Certificates, Massage sessions refundable?
Massage Packages, Gift Certificates and Massage Sessions are Non-Refundable. Packages and Certificates are Valid for one year after purchase.
What does this service include?
Services include: Heated table, hot towels, serene music, diffusers, and aromatherapy oils. For clients who are allergic to scents, I have unscented, hypoallergenic oils available.
Do I have to remove all my clothes for the massage/bodywork session?
No. Clients will be properly draped under the sheets during their massage/bodywork session. I will use sheets to properly drape you as I am working on a certain section of your body. You may leave on as much clothing as you wish. I work around your comfort level.
Does the price listed for my session include gratuity?
No. The price listed is for the session only. Gratuity is not required but greatly appreciated!
